Operative
Experience
After
finishing the Residency Programme in General Surgery
(1989-1994), I initially worked as Assistant Specialist for
one year followed by three years experience as a full
specialist in General Surgery.
I
then joined the plastic Surgery Residency Programme in 1998
first as a Registrar in Plastic Surgery in King Hussein
Medical Center where I was exposed to all aspects of plastic
Surgery in the well equipped burn unit as well as all
varieties of congenital correctable malformation,
Maxillofacial and body contouring Surgeries with Great ephasis
on hand Surgery which include trauma repairing tendon and
nerves, burns and fingers and hand transplants.
From
year 2000 I worked as a Senior Registrar in plastic surgery
where I gained more experience as assistant or first surgeon
in varieties of plastic surgery and started to develop great
interest in hand surgery especially in Microanastomosis.
