.  Clinical  Experience  :

A ▪Private Practice, Amman : 1994 – 1998 as general dental practitioner at Marka Medical Charity Center, during it exposed to all sorts of experience in the field of dentistry.

B ▪Clinical Oral Surgery resident at Oral Surgery Department, (El Qaser El Any Hospital,2000 beds), Faculty Of Dentistry, Cairo University in preparation of M.D.S. degree, 1998 – 2001.

During this period:

1-    Got Vast Clinical Experience regarding all sorts of minor Oral Surgical procedures (i.e.: Impactions, Orofacial infections, Jaw Cysts, Endodontic Surgeries, Dental traumas … etc) & Implant Surgery, including implant insertions & Para-implant Surgeries (i.e. sinus lifting, ridge augmentations, nerve transpositions ….. etc).

2-    Gained good surgical skills in all aspects of oral surgery including, management of oro-antral communications and fractured tuberosity, management of all sorts of oral and maxillofacial trauma including soft tissue injures, management of benign lesions of the mouth and jaws, management of salivary gland diseases, management of tempromandibular joint disorders, management of Orofacial and craniomandibular pain, diagnosis and management of Orofacial cancer and pre-cancer lesions, and management of Dentofacial deformities including orthognathic surgery.

3-    Completed a total of sixty credit hours of lectures and seminars in different subjects of oral surgery.

4-    Clinical supervision of the fourth & the fifth year dental students, & assistance in demonstrations, tutors, exams & lectures in regard to Oral Surgery.

5-    Preparing & organizing of seminars & discussion groups at the Oral Surgery department.

6-    Clinical training and practicing of CO2 Laser surgery in treatment of different types of Oral&Maxillofacial soft tissue lesions.

7-    Preparing, writing up, submission and defending of the clinical Master thesis, entitled (Assessment of Oral Mucosal Healing after Application of Carbon Dioxide Laser and Electrosurgery).

N.B: During this period I was involved in clinical attachment to Maxillofacial & Plastic Surgery department, Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University on two days a week part time basis, and then attended it as full time resident till 2004.

C ▪ Clinical Maxillofacial resident & senior resident for the preparation of A.B.O.M.S. at Maxillofacial & plastic surgery Department(Alexandria General Hospital 1500 beds), Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University 1998 – 2003.

During this period:

1-     Got vast training in the management of all sorts of maxillofacial trauma, diagnosis, planning & management of congenital & developmental craniofacial malformations including cleft lip & palate, management of patient with facial space infections, management of oronasal & oroantral fistulae & other sorts of dentoalveolar surgery under local & general anaesthesia including using distraction osteogenesis.

2-     Actively participating in major surgeries including excision & reconstruction of oral cancer including microsurgical procedures, salivary gland surgery, orbit reconstruction, tempromandibular joint surgery & orthognathic surgery.

3-     Involved in the following duties : - 

a)      Running three operative lists a week.          

b)     Managing inpatient ward of 30 beds including 3 i.c.u. beds.

c)      Running an out patient clinic three times a week.

d)     Organizing weekly combined meetings with the orthodontic & oncology departments.

e)      Treating & supervising of maxillofacial trauma cases in the casualty department.

f)       Organizing of the weekly scientific meeting of the maxillofacial department.

g)      Clinical supervision of the junior residents at the department & assistening in demonstrations, tutors, exams & lectures in regard to maxillofacial surgery.

4-   Practicing all sorts of Dentoalveolar surgery including implant surgery with special interest in implantations of reconstructed mandible & maxilla by free vascularized flaps.

5-     Preparing & finishing a log look including more than 380 major operations under General anaesthesia, for the partial fulfillment of the Arab Board of Oral&Maxillofacial Surgery.

6-     Preparing, writing up, submission and defending of the Arab Board Thesis        entitled:    (Maxillofacial Radiolucencies).

. Previous  Post  :

   Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon & Implantologist at the Islamic Hospital (400 beds) – Amman – Jordan (which one of the largest & most famous private hospitals in Jordan ) since January  2004 till April 2007.

 The previous practice was  including the following:

1-     Insertion of dental implant & Para implant surgeries (Sinus lifting, ridge augmentation, intra oral distraction osteogenesis… etc).

2-     All sorts of Dentoalveolar surgery including complicated exodontias, impactions, jaw cysts, surgical endodontic, surgical exposures, re-implantations, pre-prosthetic surgeries, periodontal surgeries…. .etc.

3-     Maxillofacial rehabilitation including extra oral implantation & maxillofacial prosthesis.

4-     Management of patients with all sorts of Dentofacial deformities including cleft lip & palate & oronasal fistulae including the use of Inra & Extra oral distraction osteogenesis & all modern techniques of orthognathic surgery .

5-     Management of patients with different kinds of maxillofacial trauma, including treating and supervision of emergency cases at the casualty unit.

6-     Management of patient with all types of facial space infections, and jaw bone infections including the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

7-     Treating and managing of para nasal sinuses problems including maxillary sinus infections, and oroantral fistulae.

8-     Management of all sorts of Tempromandibular joint disorder, including joint surgery.

9-     Management of patient with oral cancer including resection & reconstructions.

10-Management of all types of salivary gland disorders, including minor and major salivary gland surgery.

 Consultant Oral - Maxillofacial Surgeon & Implantologist and Head of the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery & Implantology at Elaj Dental Implant Center – Amman since April 2007, and Part Time Consultant at the Islamic Hospital– Amman – Jordan.

  The current practice including the following:
